Robert La
Touche BA (Mod) MSc DC MMCA MCC
Robert La Touche
graduated with an honours degree in Natural
Sciences in 1972 and went on to study for and
receive an MSc in Marine Zoology. He then worked
as a marine biologist for University College
Galway for 14 years.
During this time his interest
in complimentary medicine grew until in 1994
he enrolled in the McTimoney Chiropractic College,
graduating with a Diploma in Chiropractic in
1997.
Since then he has devoted
considerable efforts to improve his chiropractic
techniques
through continuous professional development
courses. His chiropractic treatment now consists
of mainly Sacro-Occipital
Technique "(SOT)
a highly diagnostic, effective and gentle therapy.
Patients being treated with SOT are
re-diagnosed using extremely sensitive SOT
techniques at
each visit and their progress is monitored".
Most treatments involve gently
mobilising the spine with Power
Assisted Micro-manipulation "(PAM)",
one of the more significant contributions
to
spinal care since chiropractic has been practised.
Celloid Mineral
Therapy
Celloid mineral therapy is
based on the principle that certain mineral
deficiencies in the body can result in or complicate
most illnesses. Consequently if these deficiencies
are treated with celloid minerals health can
often be restored or at least improved.
Sometimes the practitioner
will work alongside a medical practitioner who
is prescribing orthodox drugs.
Celloids consist of salts that
occur in reasonable quantity in the body and
include the minerals Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium,
Sodium, Iron, Silica, Phosphate, Chloride, Fluoride
and Sulphate.
These salts are produced in
the same form as they occur in naturally produced
food. They are therefore easily utilized by
the body and are at their most effective in
the treatment of disorders.
The practitioner will take
a careful case history of your health before
suggesting a combination of celloids which
are specific to treating your condition.
For a chronic problem e.g. asthma, polycystic
ovaries, endometriosis, arthritis, the patient
takes a full dose of prescribed minerals for
3 months and is then gradually weaned off
his/her
prescription over a 2-3 month period. Sometimes
a maintenance dose is required to maintain
health.
For further information please enquire at the
clinic and/or ask for our information booklet
on celloids.
